The UnderConstruction Series is an ideal way for artists to show experimental or unfinished work, and receive feedback during the developmental phase of a project. Following each showcase, the curators of Under Construction facilitate a feedback session between the artists and audience. Velocity’s goal in hosting these events is to push the boundaries of new work and the possibilities for sharing it. UnderConstruction aims to create a dialogue about the process of making work, and create an environment where artists can receive support and constructive feedback.
