Velocity offers movement artists beautiful, clean, and affordable rehearsal and performance space. Velocity’s facilities house our eight programs including Ongoing Classes, as well as self-produced performances and rehearsals by numerous local dance companies and choreographers.
Ongoing Classes are now happening in our NEW building at 1621 12th Ave (formerly the Capitol Hill Arts Center Building).
Our new building features:
- The Founders Studio & Theater. 2,400 square feet, hardwood floors, mirrors & skylights
- The Kawasaki Studio. 1,225 square feet, mirrors, large windows, and a sprung floor with marley.
- The Steward Studio. 800 square feet, mirrors, large windows, skylights & a sprung floor with marley.
Our studios and theater is available to rent for rehearsals, workshops and performances.
