September, 2008

Dear Friends,

September will start out with a bang for Velocity. We will continue our presence at Odd Fellows, with the full class schedule commencing on September 2nd. Your favorite classes are back now that the summer is over. Check out the class schedule here.

The summer construction work taking place within our spaces will be complete by this time so we can all dance in peace.

In September we want to offer an incentive to get people back in our studios to rehearse. Book your space before September 2nd and it is only $10 an hour for either the MainSpace or Studio 3. Email Jody today at info@velocitydancecenter.org to get on the books.

We are also excited to present The Fall Kick-Off Extravaganza, September 25-27 at 8pm in the MainSpace Theater. An eclectic mix of some of Seatle's most talented and charismatic choreographers will come together to benefit Velocity Dance Center. As many artists as possible will perform each night, donating their time and talent. Each night is one-of-a-kind and chock full of awesome dancing. Amy Neal and Mark Haim are helping Velocity put on a spectacular show, this is not to be missed!

While we don't have news on a new home for Velocity yet, we are actively searching and hope to have good news very soon. In the meantime, we will continue our presence at Odd Fellows indefinitely.

Thank you for sticking with us during this transition. There is nothing more important to us right now than the support of the community. Please keep coming to classes, rehearsals and performances in our space, and we hope to see you at The Fall Kick-Off!
