SARAH LISETTE CHIESA is an American born contemporary dance based Artist, who is currently a Pre- Doctoral Lecturer at University Washington and MFA candidate. She attended the North Carolina School of the Arts for High School, received a B.F.A. from Purchase College, and a Post Graduate in Choreography from the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance. Sarah was a company member with Shen Wei Dance Arts from 2008-2014 and continues to perform with him.  She has worked in freelance with many artists in fashion photography, film, installation, and theater. Her work has been shown in various venues and festivals in United States, Austria, Italy, Venezuela, Montreal, Chile, and India. Sarah recently appeared in the Dresden Biennale 2019 in a film by Yuval Avital.  She has guest taught movement workshops for DXARTS of University of Washington, Aterballetto, Balletto Toscana, CIMD Milano, Shen Wei Dance Arts Intensive, and University California Santa Barbara.
