Get ready to don your feathers and glittery frocks for Velocity’s annual Spring BASH: Roaring 20s!
Join us at the beautiful Metropolist in SODO for an evening of fantastic food, luscious libations, and dazzling performances. We’ll have raffles, wine pulls and a raise the paddle to get us to our goal of raising $40K for Velocity’s 2022/23 season of classes, residencies and performances.
The evening will be hosted by the incomparable Mx. Gay Seattle Miss Texas 1988 and the reigning Empress of Seattle Londyn Bradshaw. Performances will include works by Velocity Made in Seattle artists: Drama Tops and Nia-Amina Minor (performed by project collaborators David Rue, Akoiya Harris, and Marco Farroni), EMERGE resident artist Zara Martina Lopez, Bridge Project 2022 choreographer Ashley Menestrina (performed by Megan Sellman), + a special appearance by Burnout Brass Band!
Enjoy the show while indulging in tantalizing appetizers by Brothers & Co, doughnuts from General Porpoise, and an array of libations from Rae Vino, Figurehead Brewing Company, + Schilling Cider.
Can’t make the BASH this year? Here’s where you can make a gift to help us reach our goal, or e-mail vlad@velocitydancecenter.org to discuss other ways of giving.
