IT TAKES MANY, AND YOU ARE ONE

Amidst incredible obstacles, artists are pulling off monumental feats of dance in our city–each creation a feat of courage, skill, hard work, and ingenuity.

Speaking of feats, Velocity itself is a community-powered feat. We’re an artist-led hub for sharing resources, knowledge, and community for those of us who experiment boldly in dance. We continue to advocate for the wisdom of the body, the power of gathering, and the necessity of the arts in imagining and building better futures–even when the odds are against us.

And finally, securing the future of Velocity is a sustained, multi-generational feat. Across our nearly 30-year history our collective effort has evolved Velocity into what it is today, and the next 30-years is about putting our collective efforts to work so we can be here for dance artists for the long haul.

So, because it takes many people, and you are one of them, join us at Velocity’s Spring Fundraising BASH, FEAT—a call to invest, and to celebrate, the many feats of artmaking and community actions in our 2026 season and beyond. The evening will feature performances by some of our favorite dance innovators and invite you into a collective feat of generosity as we raise $80,000 to sustain Velocity’s work.

Wear your favorite fancy shoes (small feats for your feet), sip festive drinks, and enjoy a delicious dinner from our returning favorites, Off the Rez. Be there to add your support to the ongoing feat that is Velocity.

Individual Tickets: $150
