ABOUT AFRO DANCE SEATTLE

Afro Dance Seattle is the Pacific Northwest’s premier hub for Afro dance education, fostering cultural connection, personal growth, and inclusive spaces for dancers of all levels. The PNW Afro Dance Camp is 1 of 4 camps in the country that bring together a vibrant community of Black/African artists, educators, and allies—creating a rare and transformative experience in Seattle’s dance scene. This year’s teacher lineup includes educators from South Africa, Europe and around North America! Dancers of all levels are welcome, as this camp features level based classes from beginners to pros.

Kiné Camara is a Seattle-based dance educator and organizer who founded Afro Dance Seattle, a hub for Afro dance culture. She curates transformative programs like the PNW Afro Dance Camp and led a cultural dance immersion to Johannesburg, South Africa. While she’s performed with artists like Uncle Waffles, Asake and Tiwa Savage, her passion lies in teaching—sharing Amapiano and African dance and culture globally.
